iPod Sick Bay exists to help people get their iPod running on a cost effective basis.

I am an ardent environmentalist and make every effort to repair your iPod before I get you involved in buying a replacement part.

Should I discover a part must be replaced, I try to locate a cost effective used one and recommend it to you.

I only take on between 4 and 8 "patients" a day and get them working perfectly.

I have become expert in liquid immersion problems. If you've dropped it in water (or a recent case milk) and can get it to me right away, I can usually resurrect it, make it run perfectly *and* preserve all your music and video files.

If your iPod has problems, send it in to me so I can get it healthy and back on its feet.

If it's a Video iPod (also known as 5th generation) it will take 5 stamps on a padded envelope or bubble mailer to get to me using first class mail.

If it's a Nano iPod (either first or second generation) it will take 2 stamps on a padded envelope or bubble mailer to get to me using first class mail.

The mail comes around 11AM here, most repairs I get done by 3PM and I bring them back to the post office at 4PM the same day and send them back.

Typically, your iPod is out of your hands a total of 4 to 6 days depending on where you live and if a Sunday has fallen in the schedule.

I'm in Sonoma County... Northern California wine country.

If you live nearby, are traveling through or live in the San Francisco Bay Area bring your iPod to me and I can do the work while you wait or go wine tasting for a while. Send me an email just to make sure I have on hand whatever parts your repair will require.

Call or email me with questions or to set up a repair. You can also call, I am here most days from 8am to 8pm
