These are a few my recent iPod repair experiences.

Neil Read from Ormand Beach, Florida
contacted me by phone. He described a set of conditions that I can interpreted just one way... he had a failed hard drive. He sent it in with a check for $110 for me to repair it. That was $70 for the drive and $40 labor return shipping. It wasn't a complicated repair, was finished and sent back right away.

Fixed - Total cost..$110 .

Jesse Zapata sent me an email from Suisun City California
... just to make sure that I really understood how to replace the LCD in a video iPod ;) This happens from time to time... people wondering whether my website is active or a ghost site. I responded like right away and he knew I was for real and sent his iPod in to have the screen replaced. He elected to use PayPal as the means of payment. Once the iPod arrived and I had the repair done I sent him a "PayPal request for funds" hwich he paid. The LCD was $33 and the labor was $40

Fixed - Total cost $73.

Robert Lane got a hold of me through a phone call. He lives in Canton Georgia
and through the conversation it became clear the problem with his 4th Gen Black and White screen model was his battery. It was down to holding so little charge it was effectively "not working". He sent it in along with $55 in cash to have the battery replaced. The battery was $15 and the labor/return shipping was $40. He had it back with a round trip from and back to Georgia in about 8 days... and all of his music was still on his iPod when he got it.

Fixed - Total cost..$55.
