These are a few my recent iPod repair experiences.

Dave M lives in Merced (250 miles away)

He sent in a 4th Gen 20GB iPod with what proved to be a failed hard drive. He knew he wanted a larger drive and I happened at that time to have a good 4th Gen 40GB drive available. He bought the larger drive for $65 and included in the price was the larger iPod chrome back since his 20GB size wouldn't fit the larger drive. Fixed - Total cost to get his new 40GB is $105. ($40 labor and return shippping, $65 for the drive.

Stuart S's son Daniel in Windsor (6 miles away)contacted me about his sisters Mini 2nd generation not holding a charge. They are local so I actaully fit picking her Blue Ipod up while I was on my way to Home Depot.

I backed up the music files (just in case) then replaed the battery. Fixed - $15 for the battery and $40 labor to install it and check everything out.

Stuart picked it up his way home from work and was very happy. I think Leah is too.

Peter S lives in Berkeley (near Oakland 110 miles away) He had a Mini 2nd Generation that just had problems, internal connections and software problems. I backed up his yoga chant files before starting work and two hours later had it happily working.

He stopped by while having lunch in the area 2 days later, happy beyond belief because he had just given up on it ever working 3 months earlier, *PLUS* that I was able to restore his original music files *BIG PLUS*. Fixed - Total cost to get his Mini on it's feet $40.
